Meet Becky

 

Becky has forged a multifaceted career as a model, business woman and charity ambassador. Born in Carlton and raised in the laid back setting of country Victoria with her two sisters, Chanelle and Lauren. Becky is the second child to Peter and Amanda, a fireman and former Miss Australia who took home Miss Elegance in 1974.

Discovered herself at a young age Becky began her career as a commercial and print model where she trained at the Academy of Television, Victorian Collage of the Arts and took classes in deportment. Walking on the runway for the Spring Fashion Festival Becky became a lover of fashion as a teenager, and after completing her Diploma in Multi Media cemented her need to do something creative.

As a lover of travel, Becky became a flight attendant to explore what the world had to offer while still giving her time to enjoy her love of fashion with modelling. She then met and married her now ex-husband Angelo who satisfied one of her other great passions... food. As a chef and owner of a successful restaurant, the two bonded over a love of cooking and culture. After the birth of their daughter Izabella, Becky opened Bettie's Boutique, a sophisticated clothing store and after the birth of her son Dominic, created her own label La Bella Couture which has been worn by celebrities such as Delta Goodrem and landed the cover of a New York fashion magazine in its first year.

Always a 'half glass full' kind of girl, Becky had to embrace that optimistic side of her personality when she found out her son has scoliosis and a rare brain disorder which motivated her to enter the Mrs Globe pageant. She is a proud ambassador for Bully Zero, cancer awareness and a number of charities, which earned her the title of 'Mrs Australia Globe' for 2014 and regional favourite of 'Mrs Oceania Globe 2015 and won 'Contestant Of The Year".

Her passion for healthy food, organisation, fitness, travel and fashion inspired her to create her EBook 'A busy girls guide'. Becky is a TV Host currently filming 'Behind The Sash' TV series  for Channel 10 which showcases the bond of sisterhood, juggling career, motherhood and shines a light on issues of injustice around the world and the incredible women behind them .
